Craving my own apple pie so..

Have to wait an hour to let them drop although it's only been 15mins and there's a ton of juices already from the apples

    20240529_162645.jpg

Another 45mins before they get cooked then onto making the pie crust for baking

This is what an hour gets you, tons of juice

    20240529_170551.jpg

Threw them in the pot while the dough chilled in the fridge

    20240529_171357.jpg

A lot of people throw their apple concoction right into their pie crust and bake it right away

I don't do that, because cooking the apples allows you to create a rich fruit filling for your pie

After simmering and getting rid of most of the water, I pour it on a sheet to cool

You can see how thick the filling is

Had to feed the kiddo so I was forced to leave the pie in 5 minutes longer than expected

Still good though! The dark brown is actually egg wash that fell into the crevices

    Pressure cooker butter chicken.

There's some Jasmine rice in there somewhere.

What recipe did you use? We used to make it in our Instapot a lot and stopped for some reason and now I need a good recipe again. We love butter chicken.

Less spicy and has a ton of cream in it, which tikka masala doesn't have.
    Absolutely.

We've made our own paneer before but it's too boring for me. I like the little bit of saltiness that the string cheese adds.
