OP post is transmission temperature. Maybe I missed response but...

What is a suitable temperature range and temp ceiling while towing?

Scangauge reads 190 to 205F transmission monitors one and two typically in fourth. In fifth engine lugs and Temps climb to 230 until I downshift.
At what temp are we degrading the fluid?

Same question for oil Temps and coolant Temps.

That is life expectancy running at that temp for one hour continuous.

This chart seems to be for a manual transmission, also according to this chart our transmission will last between 50,000 and 100,000 because depending on weather temperature, towing, and driving conditions our transmission sit between 175•f and 220•f. Lol no offense this chart is a joke

Don't tow in 5th. Use 4th. High AT temp warning ligh is set to trigger 248-250°F
Oil temp is a calculated values. It trends AT Temps. Usually below the coolant temp.
Thermostat opens at 185 to 192°F. Also the thermostat has a variable lift to increase flow at high load. On the scanner, you should see around 200°F (+-)

Would I benefit from adding the external transmission cooler to my 2023 SR5 3.5L automatic?
Just towed 6200 miles in 4th at 75+mph in 20F to 87F weather. Scangauge trans1 and trans2 temps were steady in 194F low to 220F high range.

no, not early. Brochures are finalized before the truck model was even in production. As the model progresses, the truck gets updates to features. The brochure does not get updated.
