Yup. Everyone has different things they like to do. I’ve done plenty of wheeling but for me it’s more of something to get to a destination, not the primary object. Others it’s about seeing what they can do

nothing wrong with either or anything in between.

On another note, hit the lake over the weekend as it’s the deepest it’s been in years by about 10 feet



They pulled most of the docks so there weren’t many people out. You could get way up the north end that was previously <3 feet and is now over 10

 

That's how I like to off road as well, it's about getting to a destination that you could not reach otherwise vs trying to just over come obstacles.
One is also a lot cheaper to do than the other, because it's not IF something is going to break but WHEN.
Hard core off roading is kinda like racing cars, I like it but just don't have the money to afford the price for admission.
Racing bicycles is more a sport I can afford, and pretty much every race I do I break an expensive part or injure myself.

I’d definitely rather have the skills and capabilities and not need them than the other way round.

I might be new to playing around in trucks but I'm no stranger to ripping around on snowmobiles, atv's and field bomber cars.
That's all there was to do growing up in a town of 10k.
That and cause trouble.
