    It shouldn't shudder at all

Tapping the brake is a way to determine what is shuddering. Because sometimes it could be something else like a drivehaft or slight engine misfire

Gotcha. I was recently told that my entire rear driveshaft needed to be replaced because of a shudder starting from stop at low speeds and uphill.. so looking to get as much info as possible because I’m not believing that I could have damaged a driveshaft under normal driving conditions

If you feel shuddering everywhere all the time it's probably not the TC, likely something rotational/mechanical like the DS, wheel balance, etc

TC shudder is usually light throttle while cruising at speeds over 30-40 mph or so. If you press the gas or brakes it should go away immediately

I've never done it myself but guys will take the rear driveshaft out and drive around in 4wd (front wheel drive) to see if the vibration goes away
