    Poll: first day of the week depends on what you are talking about.
    If it is the work week, then Monday.
    But, if you look back to biblical days the sabbath was Saturday. So Sunday would be the first day of the week.
    Then there is modern times, we associate Sunday and going to church as preparation for the week ahead.

    I wish this could be my attitude. We were joking this morning that one guy in my shop is always like this but the brass loves him. I'm the 15 minutes early, leave on time, always answer guy. And think about work at home guy. Gotta keep working on that.

    Sounds like your BIL is a rescue swimmer, AST would be his job title and rate. As they go up in rank (and age) they tend to swim less. That’s a hell of a job, much respect for him. Us boat guys don’t have near the swim qualification they have.
