I know, right? Strange trade, but I have another truck - 2012 GMC Sierra Crew.

Anywho, the numbers were just too good and I made the mistake of test driving a GR86 and couldn't get the grin off my face. My truck info is in my signature line and they gave me right at 40K for it and didn't jack the price of the GR86 (premium) up either. I was out the door right at 35K after taxes, destination, docs, etc.....

Amazing to me still that I got way more for my truck than I owed, but I only had it about 13 months and it had 13.5K miles on it.

Great time here. Go test drive a GR.....holy crap. You'll thank me (or make fun of me) later.

    Congratulations! On the 86.

I saw a red GR Corolla out front of the dealer this morning. I thought to myself I sure could use one of those.

I like them too. And the Supra. But both are WAY higher in price than the 86. And I can't see where they are that much more fun, at least for me.

I'll clarify the deal a bit. The "Southeast Toyota Distributor" (MAFIA....such a clearly bogus middle organization that holds us all hostage) SRP was $34,700 on the GR. If you build one on the Toyota website (a premium GR86), it says MSRP is $32,995. So with either the SRP or MSRP, it's clear once I was OTD at 35K including their destination fee, processing fee, taxes, tags, etc.... I did ok. When you look at from the outside, I got right at 39K for my Tacoma, which is still quite surprising in a good way.
