I know Jonathan has a site and Pat is crashing. And @Getuponit has a site. I'm torn whether to come up Saturday evening or Sunday morning. If there's room, I'll probably come Saturday evening.

I responded to a 4Runnerforum member that put out an open invite for a trip to Colorado July 9th-13th. Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass, Poughkeepsie Gulch and Ophir Pass are on the menu. He says he puts out open invites all of the time on FB but never has any takers. It'll be him, his 13 yr old daughter, his GF, a friend of his and me. After Colorado, he's heading to Moab, but Moab in July is a bit too hot for me. I'll head home on Sunday. Anybody interested in tagging along?

I would... but won't be back from my river trip out in Oregon. Curious to see pictures and a snow report! I have done all the planning for a trip from Durango to Casper Wyoming popping over passes staying up on the crest essentially... Someday. Its a 16-20 day-er.

 

At least the passes should be open. I don't think they got anywhere as much snow this past winter as the year before.

 

I don't think Black Bear Pass ever opened last year 'cause of all the snow.

The weekend is approaching and I'm pretty pumped!

Question for those of you staying Sunday night... do you plan to do some more wheeling on the trails on Monday? Just wondering if I should buy a trail pass for both Sunday and Monday at check in. I'm up for a few more hours of play time before heading back home or maybe finding a fishing hole for a bit. I won't be in a big hurry to get back home.

 

I will most likely play for a few hours. I often pick a rock and just play in the morning waiting for everyone to get going...

 

Im game to spend some time playing on Monday as well.
