    we meet again whippersnapper.....

If this is true I'd guess this month we should see the '12 tacoma. Next month at the latest since I doubt they'll start producing it before they unveil it.

and it has a metal bed, so surely not a tacoma. I doubt Toyota would come back to metal beds.

I used basic MS Paint to do the black one, but if you are interested in the original file, let me know and I can email it to you. The original is a little bigger and a lot clearer. Let me know if you want it, as I would also like to see white.

The bed on this truck has a feature that the 2001 Frontier had. There are vertical slots for putting boards in to act as bed dividers and the roof looks like it has creases similar to the Frontier also.

Did VW clone the Honda Ridgeline? Did they also fail to notice the Ridge has never reached it's sales goals?

August seems like a longggg way away. I'm torn, get a new toy now, or wait and see what happens at the end of the summer.

I'd kick myself in the butt if I bought one now then they actually came out with an updated model in 4 months.... that could fly to the moon while making dinner and turning piss into beer.... but seriously, if I could just stay off of here for 4 months, it would seem to go faster.

I get on here and I'm ready to pick one up on the way to work tomorrow so that I can pick up a bunch of mods to put on after work tomorrow, only to come home and get back on here and find yet more mods to do the next day!

I'm an addict, what's so wrong with that?

don't buy a new truck now.. with gas prices approaching $5 and only higher prices in sight, wait until the value of these trucks drop then jump in.

i hear ya! toyota's recent plan (could have changed) was 2012 change, including the engine. unfortunately, not sure if that meant model year, or physical year. i'm planning on getting one at some point (the next gen), so i went ahead and got a really nice first gen to hold me over.

I've been waiting for a long time for this 2012 change. With the Tsunami causing pain in the auto industry it makes me wonder what is to come with the next Taco. Toyota along with some US auto companies have had issues getting red paint for their current cars because of a plant in Tokyo... I want my 2012 taco red. Toyota announced that they were going to shut down their US factories for a week due to budget issues. I know the next taco is comming in Aug or sept, but it sucks to see the year start out so rough for them. I would hate for them to say they will wait one more year due to the global issues. It may sound selfish, but my hart goes out to Japan. I still want my 2012 taco like many others I'm sure.
