Hitting a deer, by itself, can total just about anything. I've personally seen hundreds of vehicles totaled by animal impacts during my career, most of them by deer.

Cows also can total a car. So can a wild turkey if it's big enough and it hits the leading edge of your roof. More firsthand examples.

Exactly, due to European standards it make sense to keep the car if it has factory warranty or renew after 4 years due to inspections of EU.

 

Your Tacoma having a salvage title is a big red flag!

I live at 7000’ and have started my Tacoma in -20*f with absolutely no problems.

Did you read the owners manual? You should never tow in Drive. You do tow in S4 or S3.

 

You're looking for input on your bad decision.
don't buy a salvage title expecting to save money and get new truck performance.
If you're not paying up front, you'll be paying in the end.

 

Never ever… ever buy a vehicle with a salvage title … u are just opening up a world of problems … best advice is to get rid of it asap … sounds like a lemon .
