What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Does it work for all double cab second gens? Or only 12-15? I have a 2007.

 

Headlights look like replaced? Where did you get them from?

 

From what I've read it fits all 2nd gens. I can only verify it was plug and play on my 2015.

 

Yeah, thats what mine looked like too. My "before" pic was after I got the big chunks off. It was a real mess under there

I have an 07 as well.

I was originally going to purchase this set that everyone first started ordering from but noticed it doesn't work with 2.0 Tacomas. I was thinking of splicing both harnesses to make it work but dont want to mess things up.

I have sent the company a email if theyve thought about making one for the 2.0 Tacos. I guess none theyve made have worked as of now. I think they might be making a piggyback harness thatll go from a 2.5 to a 2.0 Taco window switch.

most likely, its where most were getting the switches at first. If someone is able to make a harness that adapts the 2.5 switch to a 2.0 switch, sign me up.

 

Best 3min mod for my truck, probably best $30 spent on the truck too.

What blows my mind is how my buddys 99 4Runner has this stock and the 2015 TRD Offroad doesn’t. What the hell toyota? The 99 SR5 4Runner also had compass in the mirror and auto door locks in drive.

Got some 235's Toyo's and new TPMS sensors installed, it's nice not having the TPMS light on all the time.
