appreciate the offer, I sent you the gold that is my early 20's nephew in my old truck. my hope is tomorrow if we get my "atv" ramp up under the rear tire he might be able to drive himself out. if not ill be making sure my chain saw runs and may need to cut some stumps

doesn't even give a true depth to the distance or the snatch block work that was used, or the sketchy trails, and that my mirror and drivers door now have some new trail buffing. and plenty of new trail pinstripes. though this does make me want to build a newer larger recovery box, maybe a trip to harbor freight for a new box that would fit all the straps and shackles we used. again i appreciate the help glad there was a 2nd person there to help with rigging, and I'm glad we didn't need you truck.

oh, and looked it up. my Ironman4x4 12k from the factory has a 92' line. so it was at least 100ft down that hill from my truck

That’s funny because the first thing I thought was to give you a call and see what you were up to. Everything went pretty smooth. The biggest hurdle was that he was high centered on a rotten stump.

agreed! it was a pull for sure. I'm thinkin about moving a few things around, and maybe getting the smaller "competition" winch box its a bit more compact and put it in a different place in the engine bay. and i may go buy a newer battery with more CCA, and higher reserve for now. thinking about ditching my running boards for some sliders. and the front suspension needs some work think the Bilstein's are close to the end of their life. but 100% was a heck of a time!

I have Ironman suspension, badlands 12k synthetic rope winch, sliders, skids, and a decent amount of recovery gear including boards…

I've the iron man 12k, need more armor the ARB bumper helps with approach, and I had 2 different pairs of traction boards, and recovery gear. we ran a chain saw and a saw-z-all to cut up some limbs to build some bridging. once dried out someone would have a decent bonfire pile. was a good time i miss doing stuff like that though i may get another winch cable extension but I'm not often at the end of the winch line running it.

let me just say that OR Tacoma Prices are absolutely wild. doing a little mental/online shopping about building a dedicated trail vehicle and even pre runners are still stupid priced. maybe because I don't want a perfect example even. heck id love to find a like 05 dead motor, and even 2wd since id be solid axle swapping the thing. maybe first a first gen tundra they aren't much bigger but who knows. sorry for the rant. but i just want a new toy

Sandy is a great place. Been here over 20 years. Traffic on Fridays with people headed over the mountain and on Sundays they are headed back through.

eh lots of leaves do, I've seen some people will smear some grease on the tabs. my OME are a bit squeaky when I'm flexing them up.
