How'd your mri go?

 

Well it went got IV started and got into the tube and pulled me out and said this machine is not working. Took me inside to the open MRI which is what I was set up for before my insurance company said I needed to get it done before June 5th. My original appointment was for June 11 open MRI.
So it got done and I'm waiting for the results. I was home by 10am.

This is a puzzler. I drop and hook. Always the same 2 trailers. Now one of the trailers the brake lights will not go off, but only when attached to my tractor. Even with the truck turned off the brake lights stay on. Same trailer hooked to the other guys tractor works fine. The other trailer the brake lights work fine attached to my tractor. This just started this week.

 

Something loose in your pigtail.

 

Yeah, was thinking something like that, except it only happens with that trailer. You would think it would happen with both trailers. Electrical shit is wierd. Maintenance is going to swap piggy and see what happens. Also had my dash light up like a Christmas tree last night with that trailer attached. Went away after a restart.

 

Probably something in the electrical box on the trailer, loose wire etc.

 

I’m experiencing the same thing with certain trailers. The pigtail end is worn out in my case

 

Yeah, the thing that stumps me is the trailer works fine hooked to any tractor except mine. We'll see what a piggy swap does.

 

I had an issue like that with my rig awhile ago, but the brake lights on the tractor where also staying on. It was in the tractor.

 

Hopefully piggy swap fixes it. Tractor lights work fine. If I move the pig tail in a certain direction it works. This is what I had to do to get brake lights to work properly.

 

Yeah if it's not the pigtail it'll be in the box that the pigtail plugs into. That looks like a repair from the place we used to go to. Everything was fixed with zip ties, lol.

I always keep a zip tie looped in the pig tail ear so it I always have something to wedge in beside the plug if it’s a little loose.

 

Hahaha . I just want to thank you guys for the walk down memory lane.

I just got caught up and in the spirit of this we use to use plastic seals stuck in at the bottom of the pigtails pushing up. It was usually the box on the tlr. worn out and just needed to be replaced.

Motorcycle ride day!

 

A little cooler here today, good day for a motorcycle ride. Been working on my garage and replaced the windows and rotted out framing. And getting lots of rest, which is what your supposed to do on vacation.
Old small windows that don't open.

Opening made larger and all framed in.

New windows in. 2 side windows open.

Trimmed.

Painted.

Now I just need to paint the rest of the garage, but that's a project in itself.

So this is what I've been doing on my vacation. And Barbecueing, drinking ice tea and just relaxing. It's been a good vacation this year. Last year it was covid that almost got me, much better this year.
