    I knew a guy once (well, friend-of-a-friend) who kept all his work stuff in a box at his desk, ready to walk out at any moment. I guess he was "valuable" enough that it kept the higher-ups on their toes.

    Finding a new job always sucks, but recognizing that all you have to lose is something you don't like anyway is a good step.

    I'd dig a roommate and I guess you could come too. I'll make you a deal you can't refuse

    Hopefully you get what you desire; I too was about ready to leave and cursed out my own boss threatening him that I'd leave

    Not an approach some should take but I was promoted right then and there

    They're reliable, like a Tacoma

    For you though, it won't be reliable enough

    You need a Nissan Altima

    I’d just be scared of OBD1. I’m not trying to use a paper clip to diagnose issues. It does look in great condition though, so someone must’ve taken care of it.

    The 90s version of the Altima is actually decent. I wouldn’t mind owning one as a daily beater.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Don't purchase a car that would require you to put a hand in it for anything at all

    I've done the paperclip method for diagnosing tons of cars, and that's the least of one's concerns

    Oh please don't rebuild me, I need a DNR or something huh? In the grand scheme of weird jobs, this will be my weirdest. Sysadmin (well I am going to work to get it reclassified at the state) for a college in a prison.

    Yeah, got to experience the place a few times, prison is unique but honestly the education side while very locked down is pretty familiar.

    That's cool

    I'd expect it to be a no nonsense type of job, with more pay and benefits

    Buddy that just retired (with all the Yota's near my house) retired from corrections
