Maybe someday they’ll loop back around to simplicity, modularity and durability.

Seems like a tiny dab of glue would fix that

Until you have to remove it to fix all the other apparently ineptly designed shit behind it.

I fucking cant believe Toyota has engineered itself into Ford problems for the US market. Too much focus on cosmetic bullshit and e-crap.

    Tragic.

I get that everyone wants their shiny new thing to be perfect, but that's not reality. Yes, you're paying a lot, but it's still a mass produced vehicle made by fallible humans from the design engineers to the folks on the assembly line.

When things add up you start to question if the money was well spent. Happy to post the paint defects, gaps, cracked evaporators, etc. and yep nothing is perfect, my 16 the tailgate handle oxidized in 2 months, control arms whistled, rear diff hummed and had a crazy rattle from a poor speaker trim piece.

Vote with your wallet and buy something else. Maybe Nissan or Dodge will suit you better the next time around.

Apparently you guys aren't properly torquing the little beadlock screws on your volume knobs.

That's what I figured. You just want to complain, which is fine as long as you own up to it. Me, I'll just remain a solution oriented little fella and keep my complaints to myself.

The problem for me is they’ve proven that they can do better. Volume knobs have been a solved problem for decades, this is inexcusable.
