Radio stopped working after nearly 23 years.

I have a 2002 Tacoma (aka the rust bucket).
I checked every fuse and they all seem to be fine. It was sitting a several days after I moved. I started using it again and to my shock the radio doesn't turn on or respond at all. I'm assuming it's a power issue but im not sure. Its a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 5spd manual SR5 Base 2.4L. I pulled every (small) fuse and they were ok. Now I noticed my clock and dome light doesn't work.
The hell is going on?

clock, radio and dome lights i believe are typically all off the accessory circuit

in your underhood fuse box, it appears you might have misplaced a 15A fuse. from the top of your picture, and ignoring the left-column of fuses, while paying attention to the 'pairs' it should go:

empty
120A
50A, 50A
30A, 40A
15A, 7.5A (left is fog lights, right is charging system)
15A, 15A (left is for dome/radio/gauges, currently empty, right is for cigarette lighter port)
7.5A, empty
20A, empty

It doesn't have one?

I have no idea where you getting 8 tracks from. It has a cd player and cassette player as its 2002. Doesn't have aux nor 8 track. The new fuse did fix the issue but my radio still doesn't work so im back at square on.

 

the next thing to check would be the wiring behind the head unit. it's very possible that it's just time for a new radio, but that's only useful if all the power is behind it. specifically, you'll want to be testing the 'power', 'ground', and 'acc' wires. power will have +12v on it all the time, acc will have +12v only when the key is turned on, and ground is the return, so connecting a test light to this pin, and either of the other two should light it up.

this is for a 2003 tacoma, and be warned, most times i've tried diagrams like this they're sometimes only half right, so don't treat these colors as an absolute, only a guideline.
