    Need some perspective from experienced peeps.
    2015, 6 speed manual. No idea if this is the first or second transmission oil change. 89k miles. That looks a little heavy to me, but I do not have a frame of reference.
    1/2” socket drive for reference.

    Looks normal to me. If you see larger chunks, then that would be bad.

    Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
    Looks normal to me. Rear diff drain plug will look similar.

    minor tweaks
    We always called that stuff swaif, semi metallic ferrous sludge that's associated with a gear train being used.

    Yep, normal for a (assumed) first change. It'll get better every time. I'm at 162,000 miles and have changed mine 3 or 4 times. I pretty much don't have anything on the plug anymore.
    The first time, mine looked similar to that.

    When you say 'clunk'. I've noticed that if I'm in gear going down hill, not really engine braking, but just with the transmission engaged, and I hit the gas, I'll hear and feel a slight 'clunk', as the engine spins the crankshaft to pick up speed. Is that the clunk you mean?
    I paid for a really good extended warranty, so I'm not stressing it TOO badly.

    Depends, and is hard to say on a forum.

    If you get under the truck, jack it up, neutral, etc.
    You can find play in the driveline by manually rotating the driveshaft in small amounts before a rear tire spins. Often, the small/slight "clunk" some people report is just the normal slack in the driveline/gears/etc.

    That is some what normal. But can also be a sign of a worn transmission mount.

    I honestly think you have nothing to worry about.

    Also, the metal debris on the drain plug are 100% normal. You are all good. No worries there.

    Sound advice for all things mechanical. When your machine starts losing chunks, you're gonna have a bad day.
