I remember beating my grandfather in a game of ping pong (that I'm sure he let me win) for 10 bucks so I could order a sea monkey kit out of a Boys Life magazine ad.
Only to receive a packet of freeze dried fucking plankton or whatever they were, talk about a grift

Oh and remember those Magic Eye posters?

I remember stupidly sending money (I'm talking two whole dollar bills and some change) in an envelope when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, along with my "proof of purchase" for something off a box of cereal

Can't remember if it was a lego or something that was promoted

I wish I had held onto some it, especially the POGs....those things were as good as currency for a couple years there if you were under 12 years old

"Walk the dog" and all these other tricks you used to outdo others

 

Sofia got a yoyo recently at her school's annual fair and I tried so hard to do the walk the dog truck with it that I had mastered at 13 yrs old, but I couldn't do it and she was very confused by my frustration

 

Gotta loosen that knot that goes around the center of that thing

Too tight and it ain't gonna spin in place

 

Unless you had one of these bad boys for MAXIMUM SPINNING

 

This one hasn't moved in 12 hours, so it's either really good at playing dead or it's Dex's latest victim

I had the same thought lol. I went up there last night but didn't see anything, didn't hear anything overnight either. So it either escaped or died in the heat and we'll find out in a few days when it starts to reek. Hopefully escaped

I dunno if it was a possum though, whatever it was it was moving around really fast and I've never seen a possum move quickly

 

HR videos are going to put me to sleep. Need coffee and sugar.

Ordered new tires for the 325xi though, so I got that going for me, which is nice.
