I enjoy the building the most I think? Others enjoy using them the most. I think we the builders are just doing it wrong lol. So many long, frustrating days. Mentally and physically beating yourself up. Making yourself broke etc. Yet for some reason. I do some form of incredibly stupid project on mine. Every. Single. Winter.

You definitely have the stomach for long detailed builds. I made myself sick with the SAS. Took so much effort it killed it for me. Was tired of looking at it. Sold it after two months of it being back on the ground. I think I found a sweet spot with where I am now. Family friendly when it’s done, mostly bolt on/no reinventing the wheel. Just the right amount of effort. Not trying to keep up with bouncers and shit

I would way rather prefer to use my truck rather than be building it, but I really like the reward of using a truck that I built.

Yep. Too me building is fun. Hell, even trail repairs can be fun. Plus, like @WormSquirts points out ,we can proudly say "Built not bought". That said, I'm buying my next rig built. lol

Swingset pushed me to the edge. It was so unbelievably difficult to accomplish it’s still hard to wrap my head around today. But non the less. It all worked out. Other stuff like roll cages etc don’t bother me a whole lot.

I’m glad I bought yours already built lmao. I would be in it 3x probably more to just replicate it.

And I’m sure anyone in here will find shit that they want to change on any vehicle. Luckily I’m good enough at breaking stuff or making up dumb projects to keep myself busy.

I think some of the most fun for me offroad are the side quests - trail repairs, recoveries, etc can be a blast if you are with the right people. Probably part of why I am dumb enough to think IFS in the rocks is fun. It also makes it that much more satisfying when it somehow holds together for a couple trips in a row.

I had the most fun IFS. Drive it to the trail. be pleasantly surprised that it survived a beat down and not disappointed that the purpose built machine didn’t perform to its full potential. Have heat and ac. Have fun on small stuff. Ride with a variety of folks.

I felt invincible in the bouncer, but the headaches that went with it were too much. Really only one way to wheel it and it’s the loud and violent way lol fun in its own way, but sometimes you want to take a damn breather and cruise…

Gonna bend/snap that limit strap adjustable clevis real quick at that angle. Everything needs to pull as straight as possible. There’s a lot of force that goes through that system.

Get a magnetic angle finder (cheap ones are like $25-$30) and put your suspension at approximate ride height before installing the coilovers and you can see your camber and maybe caster if you have a good vertical bolt to put it on. It looks like you have the cam tabs in there so start with (probably) rear out and front center.

Camber can be taken off the side of your brake rotor after zeroing it out on the side of the frame. It should be way more than -3.5* like within .5* of zero plus or minus.

Do the lower shock mounts end up being between the ubolts on a sua setup?
