My helmet sits on a chair opposite my desk. Safe, cushioned place for it to sit, and also a subtle "you won't be in here long enough to get comfortable" to any visitors

That's irritating that happened. When I do need to move it, I put it on the floor under or behind my desk to keep it out of everyone's way but my own

Assuming the speedos are reading kmph, he was hitting close to 190- 200mph in a few areas.

yup. I was watching and it was nearly 300 KMH that I saw. On the straights, it appeared he tucked in to the fairing you lose view of the speedo. I guess it went well over 300. 321 is 200 MPH. Insane. And on a beemer....

Isle of Man is a bucket list item for me. I had the opportunity to go back in 2001 but had just signed a contract to build my house so couldn't afford to go. Wish sometimes I'd just said F it and gone.

Shared this on the Stock page cuz that's where I hang most. But I'll drop it here too. Went to the SMoky's, hoped to run the Tail but the weather and the schedule didn't cooperate. Ran the Cherohala in a down pour. Saw, count 'em, 2, yes 2 other bikes all day. Found out later I knew one of the guys, and he was also on a Guzzi. It was pretty Sketchy, but the bike, did great. No ABS or ride modes. Just a heavy bike with a good pair of Michelins and lots and lots of engine braking. Barely touched the brakes. All in all a bit over a 1000 mile weekend. I've decided I love the Ventura rack.

And Rever was not my friend. I can record with it, but trying to run a pre planned route was infuriating.

AND I got to stay in this place. All in all a good trip.

I've been watching the races on the TT+ app. Stoked to see Michael Dunlop break Joey's record of 26 TT wins. Was gutted to see the problem he had with his helmet during the Superbike race. He had that race in the bag! Looking forward to watching the Senior TT race on Saturday.

Maybe you should snag a second helmet with no comms as the commuter.

Then I'd suggest using a beater helmet that you won't worry about.

For what a quality helmet costs, I'd go comms free (I don't have comms anyway) before I left it in a communal area. Zero trust in people.

tbh nah i dont want to use that crappy icon... im not going to buy a helmet and not use it and just let it sit around... its annoying and ive moved it away so hopefully it doesnt happen again. ive been ridding to work for a bit now and normally nobody does that so it was a shock and annoying to see it.

going without comms sounds tbh awful lol i like music when im out so couldnt go without it. wasnt really asking for a way to solve it since there isnt a way. was more of bored wanted to rant and see if anyone else has gone through the same issue.
