I'm saying use a home computer to host a browsing VPN, then just navigate to your home computers IP and port to browse through it by proxy from work

For the last 2 weeks a crew has been clearing dead trees and overgrowth from my neighbor's yard about 10 acres. It's been a little noisy but well worth it later this summer when the fire danger is high. Plus it looks great.

please tell me you rigorously input the pattern and height into the software so the Z axis is always going insane as it cuts.

I was actually curious about watching my z axis move up and down as it cuts

No but really I'm going to flip it over, but would've wanted to hear if the bevel was really bad or not on account of the constant height fluctuation

I mean really how bad could it get since the fluctuation is only by like 1/8" on the most aggressive tread plate.

    My OCD knows no bounds...

A .06" cut height results in enough beveling that those gussets I cut out of 3/16" won't stand on their own easily

At .05" cut height it stands upright

Sounds like you need a laser instead bub, or some crazy expensive consumables with a wider kerf

I'd love laser, and STV is actually working something up to create a laser setup for the at-home metal worker.

That's the same brand that makes those really nice plasma tables I've got my eye on (from Las Vegas).

Price point would be in the $40k+ range so that's a much later, investment if I really wanted to go ham (although not likely if I'm being honest).

I just love pushing cnc plasma to its limits. Just trying to achieve the best results on my cheap setup that's all, especially if it's being cut for others.

That metal is Adrian's and I was gonna cut him some table legs so really, the beveling would be a non-issue.

I'll upgrade tables, one day

Cash that I could spend on one now, or even a motorcycle (been looking again) needs to go to new concrete (expanding) in the backyard
