I did pay $1k to Jim, but he passes that into the sale price so it saves some on taxes.

Dealer offered 19k for my Jeep Wrangler trade but I found an outside buyer willing to pay 21.5k so I went private sale.

Yeah, I was very happy with it. Even better was not having to deal with the dealer for price. They have been great to work with in terms of scheduling everything after!

 

Seems to be an average deal. MSRP and right at Kelley bluebook trade-in value. I usually shoot for private party value when trading in, but not sure how possible that is currently. Congrats and enjoy the new truck!

I messaged a northern Minnesota dealer 4 hours away from me that had the red Taco I was looking for. They offered $2500 off over text, it sold last night but not to me.

 

I am tempted to go pick this one up but it is my 3rd color choice and has the SDM....which I am not really wanting.

Who I'm currently working with, the buyer backed out of that truck and my salesman there offered it up to me two days ago. I'm waiting on the black one should be here this week (also a buyer back out). My guy is Michael B. Hit him up, tell him Zach sent you, he'll hook you up. Best experience I've had so far as far as trade, price and flexibility.

Can you get rid of the $1,500 in dealer adds? I had my front windows tinted for $75, $299 is absurd.

 

They always gouge you on the add ons. Thats easy money for them. A year and a half ago I was trying to buy a tundra but the BS that was going on was absurd. I could've waited I know but got a F150 instead and never looked back. How do you like the Ranger Raptor?

No thats still pretty good. Its crazy. When I was in the market for a Tundra they wanted 4K above msrp. The crazy thing peeps were paying that all day because there were none available. They were sold before they hit the lot. I ended up with a CPO F150. Its a real truck! Mind you I had two Tacoma's spanning 22 years, but needed a full size truck for work. My friend wants a Tacoma so its looking good for him.

 

Sorry that wasn’t my intent. It’s good, but not a true savings. When I purchased my 2022 the dealer told me $2,900 off MSRP with a dealer fee of $348, no other adds. Local dealer said $4,000 off MSRP but then added a protection package for $1,995 and a dealer fee of $400.

I didn’t find out about the protection package until driving to the dealer, wasted 120 miles of driving.

 

35.5 for the 3rd Gen SR seems crazy. Isn't that what the 4g SR costs? That looks like a great deal.

Yes, the fun part is they put it inside the dealership and listed it for 37k,windshield needed to be replaced so unless the can add a extended warranty, they are going to make crap from that sale.
