    Yes, he and Philippa and Fran are writing the story. And Andy Serkis is reprising his role as Gollum. However...

    When PJ directed his LoTR trilogy for New Line, it was his love letter to the story and he put so much effort into getting everything as right and as correct as he could. I feel like this movie is just a money grab by whichever studio is producing it, much like the trilogy that shall not be named. Either way, I am skeptical of what this "Search for Gollum" movie would entail. I'd much rather see a movie adaption of the War of the Trees, or The Children of Hurin.
