I had a friend start and move my truck to fuck with me with a key from a like 2017 Corolla. No idea how it worked, my ignition must just be screwed

You have like 10 pins, and less than half are high cut so most of the pins are almost at the sheer line already

Bump up those pins that need a tad more travel (with a random yota key) and chances are it works

Not looking to leave my work just yet, so we're limited to around here. And also Rebecca needs ocean access, not right on the beach but drivable like we are now. I don't think I could ever sell her on a landlocked state unless there were family there already

 

We broke 110 for the first time this year, yesterday. I should've stayed in San Diego

We hit 103 yesterday, but the kid and I stayed indoors all day until I cut those table legs out

Pretty sure it'll be about 99-103 today again but we ain't going anywhere anyway

Tomorrow it's supposed to be 50-60 at the beach

 

I understand that. It's not having the ocean that will be the hard part. Monica is still on the fence about that. Monterey is a 4 hour drive for us now and that seams far.

 

Dude that's one thing I miss myself; was camping every other day off next to the ocean when I was living in Salinas

Beach is just under 3hrs away now but would be nice to be a lot closer like I used to be (10-15mins)

 

We are supposed to hit 82 today and it's going to feel like 100 to me. I think the half of the central valley will be in the mountains or at the beach this weekend.

 

What part of San Diego were you from?

 

Speaking of bodies of water, when we flew out of Chicago to Syracuse last week, it was my first time flying over the Great Lakes, that I can recall anyway. I looked out my window and the window on the other side of the plane...and it was just water as far as the eye could see, like we were over the ocean. Mind blowing how big those are, I guess they don't call them the Great Lakes for nothing.

 

I'd still be down for a Pfeiffer Beach camping trip if you guys are.

 

I've always done dispersed camping out in Big Sur, never a paid campsite

Aren't those places booked months ahead? If I tried now it probably wouldn't be until next year

 

Born and raised in Phoenix, but was just in San Diego for work over the past week

 

What town are you in again? I'm going to bring my keys and see if I can get an extra taco in July.

 

Yeah most the time. You just have to keep an eye out for cancellations. That's how we usually get our spots at June Lake.
