thats all a crock. yes yellowstone is one of the worlds largest volcanoes, but its not going to erupt this year, prob not for another 10,000 years. and if it does erupt, everyone is fucked and the only thing left will be roaches.

Yep super volcanoe. If it erupts life on earth will cease to exist. Ash will block the sun within days and everything will die off in weeks. Maybe the Mayan's got the date right???

I just use a free app but its kinda a pain in the ass cause you have to get the part of the song you want and then go back to the computer to actually load it back on the phone as a ringtone
Or you could just buy the ringtone off of itunes

get a droid...i can make any song i have on my phone a ringtone within seconds..granted you are limited to the beginning of the song and cannot chose what part of the song you wish to have as the ringtone, but that's sufficient for me

This is what i used to do

    1. Find the track you want in iTunes, Right click and select make an ACC version, On the ACC version that was made, add ‘RT’ to the song name so you don’t get them confused
    2. Listen to the ACC and find the points of the song you want as a ring tone (42 sec max), and note on the player the start time of that point and the stop time of that point.
    3. Right click on the ACC version and click ‘Get Info’. On the first Tab (Summary) look at the bottom and note the location of the file on your computer, then Click on the ‘Options’ Tab and select the corresponding starting and stopping points for your ringtone and click OK.
    4. Now, exit ITunes and using the location you got from the previous step, browse to the file in Windows Explorer. Now, right click on the ACC file and rename the file from exampleRT.m4a to exampleRT.m4r
    5. This will convert it to a ringtone. Re open ITunes and if the file hasn’t automatically moved to the ringtones field, drag it there, or simply drag it to your connected iphone.

for those of you with itunes, you can make any song a ring tone by following these directions:
Select the song that you want to make a ringtone out of.
Right click and select “Get Info“. Go to the “Options” tab select a “Start Time” and “Stop Time” . This will ensure that iTunes will play the song starting from the “Start Time” to the “Stop Time”. Make sure that the stop time doesn’t exceed the start time by more than 42 seconds.
You can uncheck the start and stop time settings after you’ve created your ring tone.
Now, go to Edit->Preferences and in the General tab click on Import settings
And make sure that the AAC encoder settings are set to ACC Encoder, High Quality.
Now, right click on the song that you’d selected in the beginning and create an AAC version out of it.
You should now see two songs with the same name in iTunes but one of them would be the duration that you chose for the ringtone, while the other one would be the full original song.
Select the newly created AAC version of the song in iTunes and press CTRL+C. Paste the song on your desktop (or any other folder) using the CTRL+V shortcut. This AAC version of the song will have the .M4A extension. Change it to .M4R.
Now, with the iPhone connected to your computer. Simply drag this file to the iPhone icon in iTunes.
