Truck weighed

So today I went and weighed my truck as it sits now it’s gross weight is 5880 with half tank of gas and driver.
Steer axle 2980
Drive axle 2900
What are your tacomas weighing in at?

Sounds like you are quite heavy... Do I see 6ea. E rated tires maybe??

I weighed to get my taco titled in CA when mew as I bought out of state.

It was some 4700-4800 lbs all stock with fuel and me in it, as I recall.
i've since added the cap & sliders + bits & bobs...

Say 400-500 pounds overall?

 

4,990lb with me in it and a mostly fuel tank of fuel.

That is about what mine is weighing in at fully laden (2 passengers, big dog, fuel, and supplies) for an extended off pavement trip.

My truck hasn't met a scale yet.

 

I estimate like around 4800 lbs

I just have sliders and a hard tonneau cover. Enough for what I do with my truck

 

4,800lb no driver, empty with full tank of gas.
2,680 Front
2,120 Rear

Weighed twice yesterday, scrap yard and landfill. Both came in at 5640 with me inside and about 1/8 tank of gas. Didn't get a f/r split, but that's OK.

 

Just had to get mine weighted for registration because I bought it out of state and with me NOT in it, basically no fuel (7 miles tell empty) and totally stock and empty inside the bed and cab aside from a camper shell it was exactly 4800 pounds.

Empty Weight: 4780 lbs (incl. armor, tonneau, 35" tires)
Expo Weight: 5450 lbs (incl. myself, tools, camping gear, full fuel)

I wonder how mine out weighs yours with stock tires and a camper shell interested the camper shell must weigh as much as you armor, difference in tire weight, etc.

 

I think it was said that the aluminum construction saved about 800lb on those?

 

My fiberglass hood is 15 lb lighter than stock. Optima Red Top battery is 20 lb lighter. Konig spare wheel is 10 lb lighter. My tonneau weighs only 50 lb, lightest hard tonneau on the market.
