On the flip side, if you've ever wondered if they have TW in prison... they do.

Just stay medium security or low security... the low security side looks like summer camp haha. High security, I don't think they get much of anything, none of that at this site to my knowledge though

Not having your phone, wallet, keys, with you is an odd feeling as well. If I lost my ID im not sure who I'd approach to get back out even

Yessir, although I am currently going through the steps to get a phone from the department of corrections and I get to bring in a laptop already. I don't really need my personal keys or wallet in here anyway so I'm not torn up about that. I was able to bring in keurig cups though so that was nice at least. Guard coffee was mostly ground, though that might have just been a prank.

been trying all week to get back into urgent care to get my 3 stitches removed from my arm, fucking 2+ hour wait every time. So I just went AMA and took them out myself at work, good thing HR didn't walk in on that.

It's LA County; good way to have cops waiting for you when you show up to get your stitches removed from your gunshot wounds

yeah that's what I was expecting when I went in a couple weeks ago, that or the adhesive they sometimes use. Last time I needed stitches several years ago they used that superglue stuff instead.

Kind of a bitch though because it's on my right arm and I'm right handed, was able to use an exacto here at work to snip 2 of the 3 but the last one is kind of embedded in the scabbing, I'm going to have to wait until I get home and use a small pair of scissors.

and yes, I used sanitizer on everything I'm not completely crazy

Shootings are the norm in certain areas  wouldn't expect people to call the cops

Only as a follow-up to some leads after checking with multiple urgent care centers "yeah, we got this guy Ryan...says he got bit by a dog but I pulled out the lead from a .22lr. He'll be back Friday so we can pull his stitches"

KTLA 5 vans have been driving around again the last couple days, whenever news is slow they come out here and do stories on the bears. Most recently one broke into someone's home and walked back out with a bag of Oreos, they had a field day with that
