IMG_1784.jpgCleaned it up and washed it with a product called Ceramic wash and wax, by Turtle wax. After washing an area, hit it with the hose to rinse it off and the water just beads up like coat of wax has been applied. It says the more you use it, the deeper the shine. This was one time. I like it.

First, I did a stupid thing, I traded my '14 DCSB TRD Sport MGM for a '23 Dodge Challenger. About a week later I realized I'm not a car guy no matter how nice it is so I found and traded for my new '18 DCSB TRS Sport Inferno a few weeks ago.
Over the past few weeks I've tinted the windows 5% all around except for just a strip across the windshield. Replaced the TRD sport chrome grill with a TRD Pro grill from Yotatribe.com and applied color matching decals from TVDvinyl.com over the letters.
Today I replaced the stock headlights and fog lights with LED H11s from Xenonpro.com, back up lights with JDM ASTAR 800 lumen LEDs, and the tail lights and 3rd brake light from Tacomabeast.com. Ohh and a OEM bed mat.
I'm very happy with the progress so far.

Placed a layer of Siless foam liner sound deadener on top of the Kilmat I did a couple weeks ago. At no point did I expect this stuff to be twice as much of a pain in the ass as the Kilmat. So heads up for anyone that does this, this shit sticks to everything the second it touches it! That includes your fingers. However, after spending most of today putting it in, I took it for a test drive to see how it did. This stuff made a massive difference for my truck. The Kilmat was really only modest difference. The Siless on top of it probably puts it at about 90% of how quiet it was when the seats and trim were still in. The Kilmat deadens the sound. This stuff actually muffles it. I still have yet to do the rear seat floor pans, but the underseat, back cab panel, under the tool bins and C pillars are all done. So, as much as it sucked to do and it doesn't look super pretty in a few spots, the end result was very well worth it.

[Edit]: For anyone that catches sight of my solution (attempt) at combating the sound from the cabin vents, those are just sheets of foam stuck together and foam strips formed into sort of cover. Air can still get in and out I left a small gap underneath. Seems to work alright. Just looks sketchy.

Was just looking at a JL 8" powered sub. Are JL Audio that good that they're worth $300 more than the comparable one from Rockford Fosgate?

I’ve always been a fan of jl. The clarity for me is where I think they shin. Plus the slim subs are great. That a 10tw3

JL's are really clean/deep. Focal subs are accurate, but not as deep. This little 8" ported RF sounds much larger than its size and will fit in the cubby behind the seats. The size of box, ported vs unported, wattage and ohm configuration play a bigger role than specific brands. For most ears subs are subs.

That seems like a big job. How long did it take ya?

I wish I could do this.. but I'm probably just gonna pay someone to do it. :)
