I normally run it at 68, you can ask a few members here

But as hot as it is outside, 75 with the AC on feels nice and cool on account of how insulated the house is (and how hot it is outdoors)

 

Just dug this guy out recently. Going to do the CF card mod and put it back in use.

How long until you check your fertility?

 

There are solo F-35 and F-22 on the airshow circuit, and also a solo F/A-18 (what the Blue Angels fly). I've seen them all at the Air and Water Show in Chicago and I thought the F/A-18 was the coolest. Not sure if it was the equipment or the pilot/routine, but I remember it being more aerobatic vs the F-35 and F-22 seeming more "high fast and loud".

I've also seen a Harrier there (there's an ex-military pilot who performs with one as a civilian), and the VTOL stuff is cool for a second but after that it's just a really noisy plane that isn't doing much. Kinda the same with the V-22/Osprey, but the Osprey looks weird at least.

I think the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels are happy to run "older" equipment--it's much simpler and cheaper to procure, operate, and maintain, and everything about them is incredibly well-understood at this point.

How so; guess it's one of those "you need to be there" sort of things

75 is an unacceptable internal temperature

It feels cool now, freaking 103 outside

 

75º indoors is pineapple on pizza levels of weird

 

Then again, it's the warmest part of the house

Rooms are way colder than the thermostat

 

That's my fav gen of iPod design. Mine all died years ago tho

 

I've seen the f35 demo last fall and it is still impressive maneuvering, some stuff the f18 cannot do. However, being navy would hopefully introduce the F35B which would have a different envelope of capability for maneuvers and showing off.

I'm sure that we won't see them change, but in time the F35 will be on older platform that is cheaper to maintain than whatever current fighter we have.

I set mine to 74 when I'm at work, but when I get home it gets to 67. Can't afford to hold lower than that. My apartment doesn't have ceiling fans which sucks because that always makes things feel cooler than they are, and I won't do other fans because I hate the white noise.

 

When it's "cooler" outside is when I find myself going lower like 68 and 67

That's cool though to have AC at the apartment; we had a heater and heated floors in the apartment in Chicago, but no AC and that shit sucked

But yeah the thermostat is in the warmest part of the house so basically, every room is way colder

Yeah same, it was such a great design. iFixit had parts for a long time, but lots of stuff seems to be in an endless out-of-stock status.
Not that you want to buy anything, but Elite Obsolete usually has some in case you might need something for the new gig if your classic doesn't work. I've been tempted to snag a Photo from them just for nostalgias sake.

75 is my cold sleep setting, daytime its kept at 78, up to 80 during peak hours

 

80 is disgusting lol but then again that 75 feels cool on account of your 110 you're experiencing

You probably run the AC cooler on the colder months right?

It's weird here cause during winter it actually snowed (lightly) at my house
