Ours DO love a good brushing!

 

So here's my recent cat story. A neighbor ripped up ther rotted porch, apparently a .oma kitty had a litter of kittens under it. So momma moved the kittens to my house, nbd. Yesterday .owning I walk out the door and I'm gonna get in .y truck to go to work and momma and the 4 kittens are under my truck. I shoo momma away but the kittens won't leave and remain in a pile. Go get the broom, that works and the scatter in all directions. So I go to work, get off work and as I'm walking up to .y Tru k I see a kitten sleeping on top of my front tire, wow! I can't believe it made it 6 miles to work under my truck somewhere and then stayed with my truck the whole day! So I was able to grab it and put it in the bed of my truck since it has a tonneau cover. It was a hissy little thing. So I got it home and reunited it with its siblings that where hiding in my girls car. Man I wish the wouldn't hide under cars. In the years past at least three have been run over this way. It happened to me once and it leaves you with a real bad feeling.
The four little knuckleheads are re united.

 

I would say "who needs a brushing?" Lila & Lisa would come running & double team me. Luckily, I had two brushes & two hands, lol

 

I don’t have to do that , as soon as I sit down on the couch Pie hops up in my lap. I ask her if she wants a brushing then she starts rubbing up against my hand.

 

Our little one Ripley Ellen is almost 8, and only about 7 or 8 lbs, and will physically grab the brush from your hand and hold it with her front paws, then will rub her face all over the brush.

Lisa would brush my hair with her claws when I was sleeping.

That's how it works in my house as well. They have a 6th sense about when you want to do something and always get in the way!

 

Several kittens have been adopted (yay!). We still have Mr. Meowgy (black) as he is slow to put on weight and hit the 2 lb goal before adoption. We have added a new little guy (black & white) his shelter name is Twist, but since he has no tail I call him “Nub”. Nub is very active and has one of the best purrs I’ve ever heard.

Added Elsa to our foster efforts. Kittens needing foster care seems like a Sisyphean task, please people spay and neuter. Two more kittens came home with us along with Elsa.
