    Never far away. ;)
When people need me they PM me.
If I have time tonight I will tell you a funny story about a horrible life decision I made (smoke escaped from some wires) and the satisfying conclusion. I only spent $300 in labor on an item that costs $100. Yep, math checks out. o_O

    Re: Birthday poll...
I celebrate for a week. It means I made it another year without dying!
Life is short. Live it. Don't just "exist."
Plan for a future, but live life today. Too many of my friends have passed, some lived life, some thought they would start living when they retire. At 61, I can see my retirement in the next several years. I can still do a lot of things, but most of the fun things are now out of reach.

So it should still be there!!

Not to mention a new house and that fancy Honda he's been running up and down the streets in. Smells fishy.

This looks just like my FIL's hunting truck except his is 4 full doors. It's an 05 Denali 6.0 and he's got 497xxx on the block. She still screams. He'da done been through 10 sets of turbos on these modern jaunts. I'm convinced, betwixt the turbos and otherwise plastic automobiles, these OEM's are conspiring to make it absolutely financially irresponsible to try and run a modern 2021+ vehicle for 200+k miles. By the time you need something major done, it just doesn't quiiiiite make sense to fix it, value wise.

What's funny is GMC now refers to it as "crab walk" with their EV Hummer platform, but for years it was "quadrasteer."

I don't think General Motors sold many vehicles with that technology and I recall reading mixed reviews about it.

Unrelated, it's strange to see a GMC badge on a Hummer these days too. I wish they would have relaunched Hummer as its own brand with a gas engine option. The duramax H1's were the best imo.

Or like we used to say when I was roofing (decades ago…), “Looks good from my house!”

Good morning everyone, made it to another weekend :hattip:

Some storms rolled through overnight, I’ll finally get a chance to spread some weed n feed over the excuse I have for a lawn

Everything’s been so dusty dry. Yesterday we were sitting on the porch for lunch and the waves of pollen billowing from the pines were as thick as Canadian wildfire smoke.
