Why Farm Kids Don't Get Into Trouble... with Gritto

I was driving a tractor at age 7 on the farm, but that wasn't playing.
Nor was I unsupervised.
There's always work to do on a farm

If for instance there was hay baling to do, and my Mom or the hired hand wasn't there, I was elected.
It was a 2 man deal back then... tractor pulling a baler and a wagon.
The man in the wagon (my Dad) stacked the bales.
The hired man, BTW, was a young (unbearded and unmarried) Amish guy named Zook.
(I forget his first name).

When I got a little bigger, I got to take a turn stacking bales.
The first layer or two anyway (I couldn't lift them very high yet).

Fun fact: Hay bales are a lot heavier than straw bales.

 

Whatcha gonna do with two of the same?

 

Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian and Portuguese all came from Latin; lots of similar words, if you speak one you can usually understand the others.

Portuguese sounds way different tho - it's hard because it has this strange accent for lack of a better description.

 

Truth! In my previous life as an IT consultant for GM, we spent a lot of time in Brazil at the plants. That language is confusing at best

 

Yeah its definitely not easy to pick up. some words sound familiar to spanish. But Then you have their accents and dialects. And that makes it more difficult

You can kinda understand french and italian more knowing spanish

 

If she caint return… prob leave one in her vehicle .. too change spare wif
