About 95% water tight which is about as good as it gets generally... Yes, the Stance is available for a 24 short bed.

Got my Lomax cover today! Hoping to get it on in the next few days. Any tips on the install for a Lomax? I’ll post pics and my thoughts once it’s on!

I have the OEM, it's quality, good fit, low profile, no water leak.

I’m sure other potential buyers would like to see more pics of it folded up, attachment points, etc. Thanks!

Lomax is on. It wasn’t hard. But the directions weren’t super clear. Would take half the time if I had to do it again!

it’s a super clean look and low profile. I’ll report back on water tightness.

how close should it sit to the cab of the truck? It’s close. About 1/8”.

anyhow! It’s reallly nice and looks great!

I kept my Tyger tri-fold from my 2020. It seems to fit.

An 1/8th is about the same as what I measured, I've got the same cover. I also noticed it sits really close to the cab. But overall, pretty happy with it. You're right, the instructions are garbage. It's as if they wrote them and then made changes to the product before releasing it, without updating the manual. Nonetheless, it's all relatively self explanatory - just wish some of the bracket orientations were more clearly shown.

I was considering the stance but to be honest, don't know how much I would use it. I was looking to change my order from the regular to the stance but it was too late, ended up being a good omen because I don't really miss it.

I think if there was a way to use the factory roof brackets rather than the adhesive ones, and if it didn't cover the rear-view mirror cam in the upright position, it would be a much more compelling option (the stance that is).

For how easy the standard is to get off if you need to use the entire bed. I don’t see going with the stance. But that’s my opinion.

That's a good point. I mean there are not too many situations I'd end up in where I've got the cover on knowing I'll need to use the full bed. Typically I already know ahead of time and would just remove the cover beforehand.

I guess if you lived in an apartment and didn't have easy access to store the cover when it's not in use, maybe the stance would make more sense.

Usually you can fit the cover in the back seat of the truck as well... its tight but will go.

I bought the Toyota OEM cover. It fits perfect, low profile and flush. I'm pleased with it.

When buying the OEM Tonneau for my new '24 TRD Sport off of my dealer's site, it shows part # pt954-35240, then separately has listings for rails, connectors etc. Should the pt954-35240 be complete & ready to install or do the dealers sell the components separately. If it helps, the part is listed at $1053.15.

Also, I can't find a part for mud guards. Is there one and/or are they needed?

20240625_132114.jpg 20240622_144802.jpg Trailhunter owners, you need to remove the ARB bar in order to install a tonneau cover. I sold my bar and just about paid for the OEM cover. 5' bed part PT954-35240. During installation, I was worried that dropping down the factory side rails might block the access panel for the air compressor in the bed. It doesn't!

Here are the factory installation instructions, good for both the 5' and 6' beds.
