    Whatta ya like? Do you like it to sound almost exactly similar to the original or do you like it when they add their own flare?

    For instance - Disturbed did a nice job on this one (IMO). Don't wanna disrespect Phil Collins. :D

    A remake should add something to the original, whether it be the sound (Tainted Love), overall feeling (Allman Brothers Dreams vs. Molly Hatchet's version of the same song), or a completely different direction and meaning using the same lyrics (KC & the Sunshine Band's I'm Your Boogie Man vs. Rob Zombie's take on it).

    Everclear did an awesome job with Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl as they continued the story using most of the same lyrics but describing how the song itself brings back memories for them.

    Lots of very cool stuff out there. :)
