Items for the prize warehouse!! All dug up around the base of a stump. Estimated age: 25-30 years ripe and stored in a mostly cool, partially dry place.

Uh oh. That mean he's too valuable for the prize warehouse? We got a safe in there we can use?

 

We were so poor we had to plant ‘em upon birth so we could have wood to build the pine box for the journey’s exit part.

Her daddy planted these when she was born, maybe that’s what he had in mind?

 

We'll take the old cookie on the left and the cloth part of the strap, the rest of it needs to go to an auction house er sumthin...way too good for us!!

 

Everything was reuse, repurposed & recycled back then. We just never called it green, just common sense.

Was that a yard sale today for a local rancher that has finally retired, sold his entire property and they are moving into a golf course community so they were selling everything and had this little coat rack that was handmade, but they had all their brands that they had worked with when they lived in Texas and here in Florida marked it so I had to take it home with me nothing fancy but a good story

But hey you were successful! Some of us would taken your wife's advice and bought a new one. Though I probably would have kept the old one for spare parts for god knows what...
