I do like that idea. I actually saw an ad on Instagram or YouTube or somewhere in the last week for similar device. It was like a metal or plastic pole that was about 12 inches long, so it raised/relocated that front handle up a foot. It didn’t have as much of the swing ability the rope would have, but it did correct your posture so you didn’t have to bend over to weedeat.

I also know a guy that had that happen. It was their fourth kid so she went in to get fixed after that.

YouTube is a good place to start learning how swap out your own HVAC. Or what I did, find a local guy that does side work on the weekends for cash. I sourced my own unit through a friend of a friend and then paid another guy who worked for a big company during the week to install it. I saved about 40% over the quotes I got. If I had thought about the YTU before hand I think I would’ve gone that route. The only real problem I see with DIY is the tools needed for the install.

I would call a couple local supply houses for a part for ours where we used to live and they would say I had to have a HVAC license to buy parts from them. I would say, why do you cut yourself out of sales? I'll just order it on the internet, and did 99.9% of the time.

I did get a motor for our blower a couple years ago, it was variable speed and expensive. Had to go through my buddy at the HVAC place I used to work at.

I could actually throw some metal on there that looks halfway decent and pass PA inspection. We don't have to do emissions in my county so you can get a sticker slap, just gotta buy the guy lunch. Or so I've heard.

Same where we live, dude never looked in my car until he put the sticker in it the other day. Had me work all the lights, wipers, and horn. First time I'd ever met the guy :D

Now my "good" vehicles, I take it to a legit place. Recently got my new truck inspected. Had 1009 miles on it and the guy took over an hour. Like my dude, it's brand new o_O

A new place opened up in our old town, I figured I'd let them do my 03 truck just for support. They put it on the lift and took about an hour. I never went back :anonymous:
