WAYNESBORO, Pa. —

Multiple people were injured after an explosion at a manufacturing building in Franklin County, according to dispatch.

It happened at Johnson Controls Inc. in the 100 block of Cumberland Valley Avenue in Waynesboro at 7:32 a.m.

Police say multiple people are being treated, but it's unclear how many were injured.

The coroner has not been called to the scene.

At this time, it's unclear what caused the explosion.

For a little bit the scanner went nuts and then they switched to the non-public channel. I was like WTF is going on. MMP&W did not respond, but I'm assuming Antrim Township did.

 

Just a very faint rumble. I didn't think anything of it.

The incident a few years ago was when I was still delivering for the pharmacy.
I was driving the delivery van and could see the column of smoke for miles and miles.

Yeah, that one is on the WGAL website too.
He rear ended another car on I-70 in Maryland just west of Hagerstown.

Now, that stretch of I-70 between Hagersbush and Breezewood is fairly well traveled, but the traffic is nowhere near as heavy as on I-81.
Or I-70 further east, for that matter.
