haha very true! its already bad with my friends sending me car parts and stuff for my civic all the time and then listings for bikes or when i send one they say do it lmao

agreed i enjoy dirt tbh a lot more then street but most dirt is pretty far south of here for actual trails and then i only have the one buddy to do trails with and he is always busy so i can never meetup with him... hell i cant even see the dude at blip on the weekends when me and his brother go to blip in the mornings... my dad is the other person with a dirtbike and well we all know how that thing is sitting atm! he has taken the carb but hasnt done a daaaamn thing or bought anything for it so yet again its just sitting...

 

Man if I hadnt just got back to civilization from being gone for over a week I would probably join but one of these days we shall ride!

I did! Didn’t ride over the weekend because I was busy detailing my car so it was nice to get back on the bike.

 

I don’t mind cold or rain. It’s the dang wind that I hate.

 

lol... i wish that was the case, first day back to work, work today through friday, friday is my last day at current work (been here for 10.5 yrs) then start new job this coming up monday!

 

Riding that R6 home with the broken windshield quickly reminded me why I switched from naked to sport lol

Technically slightly further (like 6.5 extra miles round trip in the same direction of travel), but for a much better overall package of compensation/benefits etc, it was time for a change, the place where I am currently at is not doing well financially what so ever and its impacted my bottom line long enough.

 

So went by and looked at it. It's an 05 crf250r for 3500... All the ones around me are around 2000-2500 so it's a bit high but a nice looking bike but no cash for it ATM sadly haha

 

oh so glad im likely to far away! that was the first dirt bike I "purchased" myself. well there was some other bikes id had in trade but oh id love to own one again, rip that around my property

 

not a bike youd want to buy used IMO. those were known to eat valve seats, and a top end job is over 1k$. thats MAYBE a 1200-1500$ bike TBH.

Really? Now that's odd I've never heard that about the 250rs loads of my friends had them and they always were good bikes. Now the price is waaaay to high since you can get them cheap all the time

 

I wouldn't buy any bike at a pawn shop. If it was pawned I doubt it was taken care of, otherwise it would have been sold private party.
