    More tree trimming today. No helicopter required. :)

    I made three vices for field sharpening chainsaws a few years ago. Kept one, gave one to a brother in law that helped fell the trees from these stumps, and gave one to the neighbor that gave me the little Poulan saw I use for small stuff. I don't use my vise much, but it's hard to keep the chain out of the dirt cutting stumps, so a touch up was in order and it came in handy.

    Alright shop crew I'm working on a rear seat delete project for Mal. I was thinking about getting a pocket hole jig, Kreg 320 to be exact. This will allow me to wrap everything in carpet and hide the screws. Any thoughts?
    It's been a fun project so far. Lots of mistakes making the templates.

    Man, this thread is on FIRE! :nuclear:
    I

    Maybe I’m getting too old to keep up… I had a couple of posts to multi-quote but all sort of other stuff popped up I previously intended to quote so I had to delete it all…

    Just wanted to:
    Nominate @RustyGreen for DIYer of the year - rationale:
    From emergency response for Mrs, getting the vehicle back to the homestead, getting her to work the next morning, correctly diagnosing, getting the correct part, intalling it without a fubar, and having it ready for her before she got off work. A textbook example of manhood and chivalry. Above and beyond!
    :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

    I wanted to also acknowledge @Gen1TacoLady for;
    1) A Happy Birthday :hbd: (sorry it took so long; and
    2) To nominate her for the post of the month (maybe year) in this thread -
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/shop-time-w-t-w-friends.669927/page-4622#post-29908123

    And last but not least, a Happy Birthday for @FishnTx :hbd: (sorry it’s so late).

    One of the cats was staring intently out the living room window we call "channel 4".

    Look who was looking back, about 6 feet from the house.

    My phone isn't much for max zoom action shots unfortunately, it laid still for about 5 minutes then sauntered off not in any hurry.

    That was all we had to watch when I was a kid. 2, 5, 7, 12. That was the extent of our entertainment!

    I have the 320. It's a great tool, just don't be cheap like I was - for the extra $5, get the clamp.

    Despite her calling it "The Red and Green Show", my wife would have gotten it. :p
