Something tells me it's newish. Boulder Bridge is a flatter approach, notice Eric's 4R behind me, coming down the hill. Also, it seems to me that there were a couple of logs across the entrance to Boulder Bridge. WiscoPat in '22

That's my 4Runner behind you. I am coming down the Rock that is on the far right in the picture of Pat's 80. Carlos and Eric were parked on the path @pearing is on in this picture.

After further review I have reason to believe that is the same rock by the 2nd beam of the bridge.

Wow, that's a good catch! I was having a hard time finding anything to confirm, since the picture are taken from different angles.

    So. Many. Stickers.
I'm familiar with 4L. See all of my previous nonsense about Windrock and moonlight and flat nasty :D :drunk:

    Very simple. 20 min instal.

This is blatantly false. The tunes have for years now had adjustable and selectable options. For example on several iterations of KD Max, ECT could be setup for aggressive/sport mode while your regular throttle was regular with a more linear response and far superior shift logic.

The current versions of Yotawerx, which have absorbed KDMax, even have gear lock, so the autos can really shine off road.

An out of the box pedal Commander is going to be cheaper option than a $500 tube, but at the end of the day it's just a throttle dump. It doesn't make the engine behave better. It doesn't disable the dirty Atkinson cycle, it doesn't help the shift, logic, etc. All it does is pump fuel in when you push the pedal down.

All of that being said... It's your truck. If you like it... No one else's opinion matters.

I should just let this die, but I can't.

One has a beam next to it and the other has two different rocks. The circled rocks don't have the same markings either.

@Pixeltim, the pic of WiscoPat is one of Jonathon's from '22, the other doesn't show me any geotag info.

edit: I see that downloading from the net will remove geocache info.
edit #2: This is driving me nuts...I'm done.

I have video of Pat’s stunningly beautiful vintage Land Cruiser in that exact spot in ‘22. I also have this one photo:
    IMG_0197.jpg
Compare the tree and stump on the left side of both photos, and the Boulder Bridge sign in both photos.
I’m impressed that the sign is still intact after a couple years!

OK, two shots from the same angle. Damn, I was trying to compare everything and the angles left me with more questions than answers. I didn't remember being behind Brian at Boulder Bridge. Must've been having too much fun...yeah, that's it...

There's no such thing as "too much fun", but we do push the boundary.

Don’t forget, rocks often move, sometimes because of our actions, combined with different angles and advanced old age brought on by retirement can cause certain confusion at times.
