:thumbsup: That is the way to teach. I always had a manual for the vehicles I owned and just dug in and made the repair. Basic understanding of tools is needed. A torque wrench is your friend.

Thank you for the pics. I enjoyed them.

Sorry to read this. I really hate cancer. I have lost too many friends to cancer.

Mark: Sorry to read about Lynn's mom. Hope you have a summer vacation planned and we need a few more pics of the Z3 out and about.

Good morning. Chair yoga starts up today and I need to make a shopping run. Chicken winds for dinner tonight.

Thanks for checking in @Devious6 , condolences for your loss. Having lost my dad in 2020 and mom in 2021 your story still hits me pretty close to home. It's a stressful time, so many things to deal with besides just the grief. Our best to you and Lynn.

:pccoffee:  to the rest of you sorry lot! :p We stacked one of the wood piles yesterday; I was surprised to have finished the whole thing in a day. Two more to go! The hot 'n humid stuff is supposed to arrive later this week so I plan on getting out there and getting as much done as possible before then.

Crazy, I’m getting ready to do the same thing. I really want to go metal, I have three roofers coming in the next couple weeks to give me some quotes.

Prices for the metal vary so much it's hard to believe. When I built my shop/garage there were places that priced it at twice the price of other sources.

    Hi Sue! Kinda good enough!
Had to go to San Marcos for wine, but I got it! Putzed and fixed the smoker switch. All the further I got.
Spent the 5:30 slot waiting for another big storm that gave up on us. 0.01". But we got a whole inch yesterday, so no complaints.

New hearing aids yesterday. So far so good. Easier to get up and running. Old ones were almost three years old, and one was not working intermittently... it got wet. Was weeding a patch of Easter lilies, sweat ran into my ear and right down the sound tube.. my fault. Have to remember to take them out when needed. I like the new ones, same brand, but better in every way. New overnight dryer coming today. No way to know if the old dryer works.. no indication, pilot light, nothing. Live and learn.

Had a great day yesterday. But then any day above ground is a great day.

Good morning. Guitar lesson in the AM and the irrigation company is coming to fix a leak in the PM. Smoking a rack of ribs today. Chicken wings came out great yesterday.

What tipped the scales for you to go with metal? I have beat that one back and forth.

This thread was the first on the list this morning. I've been on TW for quite a while and didn't know it existed. And now in 6 months I'm gonna have to go looking for the over 70 thread!

I finally retired in April, so I'm just getting used to this new way of living. Today I'll putter around in my woodshop and crank up some Zepplin so I can't hear my wife calling. Then maybe I'll drive my Taco to the mall. I need a new phone. On my way home, I'll stop at another old geezer's house and sit on his deck and shoot the shit for a while. I'm pretty sure it'll be a good day.

Already an above normal morning! 95* today, so a good day to stay inside! 16* above normal! Yikes!
Kettlebell day, then haircut this afternoon. My white hair seems to grow fast. More likely at our age time seems to go faster!
Ugh…starting pre colonoscopy diet today! I thought everyone would want to know that! LOL!

Find some joy in your life today!
