That video is a classic. I remeber when it came out in early 2000 and made it's way around in email. We had this one SSgt back then who watched this video daily for 2 months. He was bitter and disgruntled...lol

Talked to my recruiter today. I went in and he said its takin a little longer to get to MEPS due to them having a hard time finding my schools accrediting. I also taked jobs with him and having a hard time deciding what i like. Im still thinkin TACP, PJ, some kind of vehicle, or heli maintenance, or maybe a munitions or EOD. Just having a hard time placing myself.

My best advice would be get a job you can use on the outside. So I worked on jet. Yes they dont have jets on the outside. But for planes im really a jack of all trades. So now all I have to do is get my A&P license and I can skip classes I can get it fast then some jackass just doing it out of high school..

^I agree mrp192, thats why I enjoy my job in CE, easier to find a job on the outside when I get out. Most of the CE career fields are like that...

learning skills in the military that transfer well into a civi career field is great, but at the same time there are jobs in the miliatry that are only available in the miliatry, and are once in a lifetime opportunities. you can always learn to turn a wrench later on in life, but you wont be able to learn to call in close air support or fire off a 40 mike mike...

where else was i gonna get paid to work out, scuba dive, jump out of planes, shoot guns, and look good for the ladies...? only in the military. :D
