    Hello:

My 2013 V6 Tacoma continues to have These issues:
    Brake lights not working
My STOP fuse keeps blowing (under the hood area)
ABS and Traction Control Lights stay on.
Have to push button to get it into reverse
Autozone did a diagnostic showing Error Code C1422
and Stoplight Switch (which I replaced)

    Actions taken:
Replaced Stoplight switch and 10A Fuse. Everything works for a couple of minutes and then
STOP fuse gets blown and warning lights come back on.

Any ideas on what is causing this? I am guessing a short somewhere or grounding issue?

    All input is appreciated.

I would check the trailer connector for damaged wires. connector etc...This is a common failure point either from damage to the connector or corrosion.

Here is a good read on the pinout.

One quick check would be to locate the connection between the Trailer Harness and the truck harness and disconnect it. Replace the fuse and see if it holds. If it does you found the problem in the trailer harness. If it continues to blow you have a wiring issue closer to the fuse panel.
