If you could replace it with another constant tension clamp, that'd be the way to go.

 

Those wurth hose clamps are really good if you don't get the constant tension ones.

 

I’ve got the URD big aluminum radiator and the nipple is a little small on it, so I blame that.

 

Is that a throttle body spacer from URD? Or some adapter? What does it do?

 

65mm to 76mm TB adapter

 

On an N/A motor? Pourquoi?

 

Yeah, I don’t think it does a whole lot, but I got the TB for almost free.

 

According to JustDSM’s testing the 70mm one from the 5G T4R does add a little power but 76mm probably does not since it’s way larger than the plenum opening

 

Once I get the 2nd oil change done, drop the oil pan n clean it, run 2 tanks of premium, I’m going to start playing with the tune on this and see what I can pull out of it. First oil change last night looked good. Even though the oil only had 40 miles on it, it was already darker than normal, not like 5k oil change, but a few shades darker than fresh. 2nd oil change I’ll run some seafoam in the crank case to really clean it out. Then should be good after that. Probably also clean the VVT filters as well. Also found the mousekawitz’s had made a nice little home on top my cabin air filter and clogged the condensate drain. Unfortunately I had to evict them, but they’ll find a nice home at my work somewhere.

Maiden voyage out to Hidden Falls, on 3’s it just walked right over everything. First 4 I took it on, CV axle broke. Swapped it out, then next trail was another 4, broke a ujoint. Power train was strong though.

 

Power train is no longer the weak link. Lol
