Is that bed cut unusually high for an HC bumper?

Not sure on a 3rd Gen. But on a second Gen it's 17" from the top of the bed. Which puts you right under the tail lights.

Depends on the bumper brand, but that appears too high for most of them.

A surprisingly popular color that, I'm seeing everywhere as well. People really like the Cemint...

BIL has a LR Tacoma and my stepbrother has a LR 4runner...

Orange 4g in Bothell. No more sliding rear window? That kinda sucks. Not that I open mine, but the option is nice

They do have the option but it’s like the Ford sliding window. You can see it on the one in the left of this photo, I was at the dealership and saw the 4G for the first time and snapped some photos. Most of them seemed to have a slick rear window.

It exists, they just gated it behind the premium package on the TRD trims, so jurys out on how man you'll end up seeing.

Huh, it'd make more sense to me if the option was to slide down like the 4 Runner does, and I think some F150s? That'd be a nice feature I would use

I would love a full roll down window. I love it on my first gen 4Runner and my wife’s 5th gen

Tundra and 4Runner get the full rear window roll down... I would do many unspeakable things to have a full roll down on my Tacoma. Loved it on my 4Runner.

87 4Runner rolldown window was a piece of shit. that was a long time ago, but it was bad.
It was good for one thing, getting stuck in the down position and sucking in exhaust fumes.

Never an issue with my 08 Runner. I think having a full frame around the window helped keep it on track.

But my buddies 2nd gen 4Runner was definitely stubborn.
