Has anyone ever suggested that you are perhaps a little bit predictable? :p

I bought the same thing a year ago. Now I am thinking about weathertech's floor mats since they are a lot easier to remove and clean.

Tagged a deer last Thursday evening; then had my wheel explode on the drive back 5 days later. Lucky for me none of it caused what I consider serious damage. Surprisingly the headlight and fog still work besides the DRL/turn signal. Hood and grill are intact. More bummed about the door damage than anything, but it looks like the slider gave me some protection (not a scratch on it from the deer so that must’ve felt great to bounce off at 70mph). Able to straighten the lower bedside from the wheel carnage with a good yank. Came out pretty well if you ask me (last 2 pics). Shock, abs sensor, and brake lines all survived somehow.

Guys at Les Schwab in Baker City are great btw, had the wheel fixed in a couple hours before I had to check out of the motel. Then another 350mi before getting home. Now just gotta deal with insurance for the deer…oh joy

I guess it’s time for some new armor and a wheel/tire update lol.

    Damn!

What wheels, and how heavy are you loaded? They look like a truck wheel that should be rated for enough weight, but never know these days with all the companies coming out of nowhere.

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
Dude. That was a heck of a trip! I'm sorry for all that damage. I hope insurance makes things right.

I ordered a TruCool LPD4454 for my rig today.
I have only a 5x10 Wells Cargo I would tow, if ever again.

But we have torrid summer heat in Sacramento, so I figure a cooler can't hurt.
Thanks to @gearcruncher for the recommendation.

Looks like Tandem 612s. Do you know which version those were? They had a recall and replaced a bunch of the early ones at some point.

Whenever I've been attacked by a deer the insurance called it an act of nature and covered all costs with no deductible needed or history (supposedly) on my file.

SnoopisTDI is correct- Tandem Offroad 612s. I don’t see them listed on their website anymore. Haven’t weighed it recently, but it feels heavy lol. Running duratrac load range D. I’ve run these for the past 4 years and over 70k (with the camper installed for more than half of that) and have beat them up pretty good. Never gave me an issue until now. Not really upset at the manufacturer, could easily have been my doing from ‘off road lead foot’. I never received any communication about a recall, so idk if that would apply to me.

    Enough for now
Thats wild for both situations! glad the back wheel didnt cause any worse damage!

I mean the front aint terrible considering, could throw some JDM hood/bumper fasteners on that side and call it good......but then again i'm unaware of your insurance situation etc. glad you and the truck are okay!

@piotr1aj Looks like the bike didn't budge? 1Up racks are solid. Unfortunate about the wheel. Hit me up if you need a set. I'll give you 50% off

Finally cranked up the the coilovers. It's been sitting too low in the front since the install last winter. Removed the vinyl from the B Pillar as well.

Yea the 1up rack is super solid. Highly recommend. I’ve dragged it over rocks and backed it into dirt mounds. Only has some minor scuffs.

Appreciate the offer, I’ll keep that in mind!

Truck looks awesome! Seriously a nice looking machine! Who is that bumper made by? I haven’t seen one like that before.
