Oof. Funny I just commented on a report about how 4th gen lights are worse than 3rd Gen, here.

For $1k, no. Can get it cheaper here brand new. Now is it worth that price?

    ARB bumpers are great!

Here's some inspiration on what you can do with a salvaged one.

A forum buddy made two of these for him and his brother. I think he removed the arb crush can mounts and hard mounted like every other steel bumper bringing it closer to the body.

Looks really good. Reminds me of the dissent off road bumpers for the LC80.

2008 Tacoma Super Duty aka Tundra
Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
My folks just listed their 3 bed, 2 bath in Myrtle Creek OR with 2 car garage (true 2 car, not the modern "equivelent". Can park 2 Crew Max Tundras in it with room to walk beside and behind them both) with creeper pit under one side) paved driveway (tetherball post hole in the middle for the kiddos), carport with water spigot that is plumbed for cold/warm/hot water (valves in oversize laundry room inside).
GREAT for a young family, right across the street from the elementary and middle schools. It is also the starting point for most of the parades in town, so the kids get to see all the fire trucks, rock crawlers, log trucks, horses, and hotrods.
    Listed at $420k

Quite literally read the tape, without putting too much thought into it... but I thought it was strange that old school wheels would be that big.

    Screenshot_20240614_155608_Chrome.jpg

Regardless, any first gens want to roll Hawaiian style, these wheels are for you.
