I know one that may try to unbend the frame, but his machine is for unibody cars, only one ton of force.

Hi guys,

I had to remove my front hook, is there anywhere where i can buy these weld on points, but with a hole big enough for a soft shackle?

Could just round over the inner hole to have a larger radius that is more friendly to a soft shackle

That's very good, just a bit over my tipical Amazon budget. But yeah, really cool idea, hook and a shackle tow point. 2 in 1.

Looks like the hook creates a lot of leverage. A Porta Power placed against the end of the hook, pushing against the opposite frame rail, might be enough to straighten it back out?

 

I might be missing something hear but I don't see a bent frame. I see a tow hook mounting bolts that are bent over. I'll see it soon enough.

front bumper and skid plates.
I have been using their skid plates from day one and they have bent but happy with them.

 

That's the problem, I am installing brand new steel skid plates but because the frame is bent at one place, bolts won't align where the hook used to be


The problem was that the hoock is too low, hit a rock and bent the frame, its so out of wack that the bolts won't even go slanted

 

You can't see because the hook is right where the frame is bent, when the hoock bent, the frame bent at that specific place.

the hook is bent, because the frame gave away that much

 

Possibility to hook up some chains to it and a tree and pull it back out with the truck?
