    Yo Eastkat-

    Here are my tire sizes:
    fronts: 225/50/16
    rears: 245/50/16

I am running a staggered setup- 16x7 in the front, 16x8 in the back.
    Tires are Hankook Ventus V2
Wheels are from Rays Engineering Volk Racing.
All wheel hardware- rivets, lug nuts, valve stems, valve stem caps are all Rays engineering.
NO SPACERS USED - I did not wanna use any spacers

I think my setup is pretty ideal for the roads out here. Lots of the roads out here are rough. I've got a little bit of sidewall, and I do not rub. I did have to install low-profile bumpstops in the rear to give more suspension clearance. With the OEM bumpstops, I would occasionally bottom out; with the lo-pro bumpstops, I do not bottom out any more. :)

    Mostly finished with lowering mine.

    DJM 3/3 kit
    Viking coil overs up front
4x4 leaf springs in the rear

Had to raise the front up about 3/4" from this shot as I was bottoming out on the center top of the wheel well. I'll also be pulling the 4x4 leaf springs to even it out with the front. The weight of the tonneau cover adds enough drop that I don't need them. And last items will be a set of Techno Toy Tuning tie rods to fix the severe angle of the stock tie rods and a set of Viking shocks for the rear.

Been lurking for a while, had my djm 3/3 kit sitting in my garage for 1.5 years while I looked for free/cheap 4x4 leafs and researched things a bit more. Finally got around to throwing most of it together. Still need to C notch (riding on bump stops right now) and throw the new front shocks and SOS spring perch in, but happy with the look for now! Wheels are off a 3rd gen Highlander Limited 19x7.5 with a 225/45.

That thing is sweet! So it has 4x4 leafs? What do they do? I’m just running the djm 4” blocks. Do the 4x4 leafs eliminate the need for blocks?

They don't eliminate the need. The 4x4 leaf pack has four leafs in it and acts as an extra spacer, providing around 1-1.5" of lowering.

Thanks! No, I still have the 3" blocks, but since the 4x4 are spring over axle rather than under like the 2wd, they help to lower more.

Ok makes sense. I wonder what the ride comfort would be like if it would make the ride real stiff with the 4x4 leafs. I recently changed my setup I had xrunner shocks and xbrace and ride was way too stiff for the street. I took off the xrunner stuff.

Running qa1 in the back and bilsteins 4600 up front now and the ride is really smooth.
    Also running xrunner wheels

The 4x4 leaf springs are actually a bit softer than the 5-lug ones. I had to pull mine off due to the rear end bottoming out too much even with the notch because of the weight of my tonnaeu cover.

I have a heavy tonneau cover, it's an old school Snugtop SL fiberglass one, so lots of weight. Without it I would have been fine.
