    I’ll explain my answer.

Snakes are generally bigger and easily spotted. In the NorthEast by me we have two poisonous snakes and both are endangered and unlikely to be seen.

Spiders are tiny in comparison and so my fear is always not seeing a spider and the classic “put my foot in a boot and got bit”. I don’t think we have a ton of poisonous spiders here in the NorthEast either but I just don’t like them as much.

I’ll take snakes for 500. Thank you!

Im a PA in a hospital. You could argue scholar I guess since I had to do some extra schooling but otherwise a backyard athlete and mechanic at best

I’ve seen these prize packages and I’m excited to hear about mine. I’ve heard delivery can take a while though

    I like your logic.

I don't mind spiders though, no real reason.

Ever since I can remember I've been terrified of snakes, no matter if they are poisonous or not. We've got copperheads, rattle snakes, and possible cotton mouths depending on where you are in Virginia.

    I would like to add:

    1. A fish. IMG_20240612_145456.jpg
You can take yer pick between these two, but you'll have to find them and catch them herself.

    And 2.

While yer here, you can also take yer pick of one of these two beauties.

RE the Poll: This was difficult to decide with those options. I detest spiders and have been freaked out by them most of my life. But I long ago made a pact with myself that they do serve a purpose and so long as they stay outside of my house I'll try to let them live. Though with snakes, I find no use for a poisonous snake in or out of my house. But I do mind non-poisonous snakes. At one time in younger years I had a 4ft Boa as a pet. I know most all spiders are poisonous to some degree though most are dangerous to humans, most snakes are not poisonous but it is very difficult to tell which ones are vs those that are not poisonous. So walking around my place I see a lot of spiders and have become okay with them, I see few snakes and would prefer to keep it that way!

There are four varieties of poisonous snakes in TN all can be found in middle TN.

I have no idea what this guy was. I found him next to the driveway already dead with the buzzards picking at him. That's the biggest snake I've found around my my place. All of the others have been much smaller.
