Got a few more of each one but this is what I got! Stoked on the finds. Spent a bit more than anticipated but some of the double and triples are going to my nephew for his birthday and my dad for Father’s Day.

My lady and I had to run a few errands and needed something small from Walmart. I was honestly taken by surprise. It was about 3pm and we went in there for a different reason but naturally I had to check out the HW. I walked up to an overwhelming amount of staked HW that looked liked someone either went through them or they were literally just put out. Never happened like that for myself till today. Sure enough a nice lady who worked there, walked up and told me she had just put out a bunch of cases. She even told me there were more she just put out at 2 end caps around the store. After my lady and I went through the bins and grabbed what we wanted we made it to the 2 end caps she told us about. On the last end cap is where out of the corner of my eye, I saw the Super. So stoked, my Second STH this year. Both came on very random stops on weird days in the middle of the afternoon. I believe it was H case. Diggin the case for sure.

Looks like you found the STH Volvo P1800 Gasser (mix “H”) and the TH Purple Passion (mix “H”). Good score...it always feels good to be the first to hit the dump bin after a few cases get dumped/pegged.

Dodge A100 with mix and match wheels and straight axle stance corrected. 66 Charger Gasser pretty much as is. Kilo Charlie may remember posting this car some time ago. I removed the decals from mine and turned the yellow head lights white with the red 57 Belair.

 

The 78 Monte Carlo is a promo car that I detailed and it came out great. When a dealership gave you one of these they were just a solid color pretty much. I was at Kuhnle Raceway Park for the Gasser Reunion last week.The old guy with hat and long hair is local legend Gene Schwartz who has been racing his 52 Chevrolet Belair since his dad bought it for him in high school. Gene also moonlighted with the Raspberries with his brother Glen as a bass player. He did some things with the James Gang and Joe Walsh in his day. Gene recently was working with Robert Crays band. Guy is a drag racier and fading rock star. He has fans everywhere he goes.
